The Central Bank of Yemen, headquartered in Aden, announced on Tuesday the auction price announced last Monday for the sale of foreign currency, set at thirty million riyals.
The bank explained in a statement published on its website that the auction price for the dollar reached 2007 Yemeni riyals per dollar.
He pointed out that the total amount of bids submitted for Auction No. 13,2024 amounted to eighteen million, four hundred and forty thousand US dollars, out of the total announced auction amount of 30 million dollars.
The bank explained that the number of participants in the auction was five, and the number of bids submitted was 11, all of which were accepted, noting that the highest bid price reached 2027 Yemeni riyals per dollar, and the lowest price reached 2007 Yemeni riyals per dollar.
He pointed out that the coverage rate reached 62 percent, and the reduction rate was 100 percent.
