Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak affirmed on Wednesday his continued tenure in office and his commitment to his approach to confronting irregularities, corruption, and the Houthi project.
This came in a post on his X account, in what appears to be a response to circulating reports that some of his government ministers are demanding his removal from the position of prime minister.
Bin Mubarak said, "We will continue, as we promised our people and with the support of the Presidential Leadership Council, to confront manifestations of imbalances, corruption, and the Houthi priestly project."
He added, "This is an approach we will not deviate from, no matter the cost, out of appreciation for the patience, steadfastness, and sacrifices of our people and our heroes in the armed forces and security forces, and in an effort to achieve our people's aspirations for a secure, stable, and prosperous homeland."

This comes as reports indicate that 16 ministers have signed a memorandum submitted to the Presidential Leadership Council, headed by Rashad Al-Alimi, demanding the replacement of Prime Minister Ben Mubarak, holding him responsible for the deteriorating economic and service conditions.
According to journalist Abdulrahman Anis, the 16 ministers who signed the document requesting Ben Mubarak's dismissal include ministers from the General People's Congress, the Islah Party, the Socialist Party, the Southern Transitional Council, the Rashad Party, and even the Nasserist Party, in addition to two ministers from the four sovereign ministries.
