The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, is expected to arrive in Taiz in the coming days, on his first visit to the governorate (southwest of Yemen) since assuming power in April 2022. It is the first visit by the highest official in the legitimacy since the Houthi militia coup and the outbreak of the war.
