Ad Dali': A Houthi element kills a vegetable seller who refused to pay financial extortions in Damt

A member of the terrorist Houthi militia killed a vegetable seller in Damt District, north of Al Dhale Governorate (southern Yemen).

Local sources said that a Houthi element working in the works of Damt Directorate, north of Al Dhale’e, killed a vegetable stall vendor named “Bakil Abdulmalik Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Hammam” yesterday, Tuesday.

The sources added that the Houthi element tried to forcefully impose taxes on the victim, and when he refused, an altercation broke out between them, and the Houthi element shot him, killing him instantly.

The sources explained that the incident caused widespread anger and resentment among the vendors, who quickly demanded that the perpetrator be held accountable and punished.

The sources indicated that the victim hails from the "Koman" area in the Habish district, north of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).
