Gas truck overturns in Dhamar Governorate, causing a dangerous leak that threatens a disaster

A truck loaded with gas overturned on Tuesday evening near the market of the eastern city of Dhamar Governorate, south of the capital Sana'a, causing gas to leak from the trailer, amid fears of a disaster if a fire breaks out.
According to eyewitnesses, the leak is still ongoing, posing a great danger to the lives of citizens and travelers in the area.
Drivers issued an urgent appeal to travelers to avoid moving towards or near the accident site, warning of potential dangers resulting from the leak.
They also called on the competent authorities to quickly close the road and cut off traffic in the area, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and avoid any catastrophic accidents that may result from the continued leakage.
This incident comes amid calls to intensify safety measures in the transport of hazardous materials, and to activate rapid response to such emergencies to reduce losses and protect lives.
