Aggression on Gaza.. The occupation commits new massacres and 1500 martyrs in the northern besieged Gaza Strip in 34 days
Gaza| 7 November, 2024 - 6:58 PM
On the 398th day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the occupation continues to bomb different areas of the Strip, causing dozens of martyrs and wounded, while the Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli army killed more than 1,500 Palestinians in the North Gaza Governorate, in light of the genocide and ethnic cleansing that has been ongoing for 34 days.
Al Jazeera quoted medical sources as saying that 52 martyrs were killed in Israeli occupation raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, 42 of them in the northern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources told Anadolu Agency that 4 Palestinians were killed and a number of others were injured (unspecified) in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Rimal School in Al-Nasr neighborhood, which houses thousands of displaced Palestinians.
During the past hours, Israeli warplanes bombed the "Al-Shati' Elementary Boys' School" known as "Shahibar" in the Al-Shati' camp west of Gaza City, which resulted in the martyrdom of 11 Palestinians, including children.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Zionist aggression had risen to 43,469 martyrs and 102,561 injuries since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said that the Zionist occupation committed 6 massacres against families in the besieged Gaza Strip, of which 78 bodies of martyrs and 214 injuries arrived at hospitals during the past 48 hours, adding: "A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."
In turn, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, said that there were appeals and calls for help regarding the presence of bodies of martyrs and wounded people under the rubble of a house in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
He added that the injuries that arrived at Kamal Adwan Hospital are very serious and dealing with them is very difficult, noting that there are 80,000 citizens in the northern besieged Gaza Strip who face great risks.
Basal pointed out that the occupation is seeking to continue its massacres to completely evacuate the northern Gaza Strip, adding: "Our crews have not been working in the northern Gaza Strip for 16 days due to the ongoing Israeli aggression."
For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir al-Barash, said on Thursday that "the Israeli army killed more than 1,500 Palestinians during its military operations in northern Gaza."
Al-Barash added to Anadolu Agency, "The Israeli army continues to commit massacres and target shelters and civilians in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving victims and injuries in light of an exhausted health system."
Earlier, Hussam Abu Safia, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, announced that the hospital is providing services to the injured with minimal capabilities in light of the Israeli army’s arrest of health personnel and the prevention of the entry of medical supplies.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza also called on citizens in the northern Gaza Strip to donate blood to the Arab Baptist Hospital, and appealed in a statement to all international and UN bodies and organizations to send medical and surgical delegations and facilitate their access to hospitals in northern Gaza, especially Kamal Adwan Hospital, in addition to providing ambulances to transport the wounded and sick to hospitals.
Evacuation of northern Gaza
In continuation of the genocide, the Israeli occupation army warned, on Thursday, the residents of 5 areas in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate before attacking them, specifying that it is a "dangerous combat zone."
His spokesman for the Arab media, Avichay Adraee, said via the X platform that the army is sending its warning "to all residents present in the Gaza Strip, specifically in the neighborhoods of North Beach, Al-Nasr, Abdul Rahman, and the City of Return and Dignity."
Adraee claimed that Palestinians were firing rockets from Gaza into Israel, adding: "We are telling you that the designated area is considered a dangerous combat zone. For your safety, move immediately south."
Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli army said it intercepted a rocket fired from Gaza at a settlement adjacent to the Strip, while Hebrew media reported that the interception resulted in the sounds of an explosion.
The Israeli occupation army said that its forces are close to completely evacuating the northern Gaza Strip of its residents, and they will not be allowed to return to the area.
According to what the Guardian newspaper quoted from an Israeli army brigadier general saying during a conversation with Israeli journalists on Tuesday evening, "Since the forces had to enter some areas twice, such as the Jabalia camp, there is no intention to allow the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to return to their homes."
He added that humanitarian aid will be allowed to enter the southern Gaza Strip on a regular basis, but will not be allowed to enter the northern areas, claiming that there are no civilians left in these areas (the north).
This comes in conjunction with the Israeli army continuing its campaign of extermination in the northern Gaza Strip for 34 days, by bombing homes and shelters, and destroying, destroying and burning entire residential neighborhoods, in addition to preventing the entry of food and water into the area, which has left hundreds dead and wounded, amidst the almost complete disruption of the work of ambulance and civil defense crews as a result of being targeted or prevented from performing their duties.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 146,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
