Hamas said that negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and a prisoner exchange resumed on Friday in the Qatari capital, Doha.

She stressed "seriousness and positivity in seeking to reach an agreement as soon as possible, in a way that achieves the aspirations and goals of our steadfast and patient people, the most important of which is stopping the aggression and protecting our people in light of the genocide and ethnic cleansing practiced by the occupation."

The movement stressed the need not to deal with information and leaks from unknown sources, which are published by some parties, with the aim of causing confusion, increasing pressure and confusing the popular incubator.

Hamas stated in its statement that it is continuing its efforts to communicate with various countries, international institutions and regional charitable organizations to follow up on the tragic humanitarian situation in the Strip, in light of the ongoing crimes of the occupation, with the aim of breaking the siege and securing and delivering the necessary needs to confront the tragic circumstances, especially in the face of the winter season.

At the same time, the White House spokesman said: "We welcome the dispatch of the Israeli negotiating team to Doha, and we believe that reaching an agreement to release prisoners and a ceasefire in Gaza is urgent and achievable. We call on Hamas to agree to the agreement."

For his part, John Kirby, spokesman for the National Security Council, said at the White House today, Friday, that the administration of President Joe Biden is urging Hamas to sign a ceasefire agreement that would allow the release of the hostages.
