A young man was killed by Houthi militia fire at a checkpoint north of Taiz

A young man was killed by the terrorist Houthi militia's fire at a security checkpoint in one of the towns under its control, north of Taiz Governorate (southwest of Yemen).

Informed sources said that the young man (Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Zaghrouri) was killed at the "Al-Mahsis" checkpoint at the entrance to the village of "Shahra" in the Al-Haymah Al-Sufla area in the At-Taiziyah district, north of Taiz governorate, yesterday, Tuesday.

The sources added that the victim was passing by the checkpoint, and one of the militia members detonated a bomb towards him, killing him instantly.

The Houthi militia's checkpoints constantly witness widespread violations and extrajudicial killings of passersby and travelers, which have caused the death and injury of dozens over the past years in various governorates under its control.
