The state of security chaos prevailing in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), which is under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia, continues, as hardly a day passes without security incidents that result in deaths, injuries, and security incidents, without the militia authorities taking any action to control security in the governorate, which has become the media’s focus in criminal crimes.

Yemeni Youth Net sources indicate that the governorate has witnessed more than 16 cases of killing and injury since the beginning of this month, most of which are due to reasons related to family disputes and land conflicts that are crowded in the Houthi courts without being resolved.

In the latest of these incidents, two people were killed and another was injured in three separate incidents that took place in the directorates of Al-Sabrah (southeast), Al-Dhahar, and Al-Mashnah (the governorate center).

Local sources said that the child (Saleem Saeed Abdo Al-Samei) was killed by gunmen in the village of Hajr in the Al-Sabrah district, without knowing the reasons.

In Al-Dhahar District, citizen (Amin Muhammad Malhi Al-Maramed) was found murdered inside his home in Al-Sabil neighborhood, west of the city, amidst the mystery surrounding the incident.

The sources indicated that the victim, who hails from the village of "Jishman" in the Qas' Halyan district in the Al-Udayn directorate, was found murdered inside his home, amid conflicting accounts of the nature of his murder, with some sources saying he was stabbed to death, and others saying he was strangled to death.

In the old city of Al-Mashnah District, a person named "Mohammed Samara" was seriously injured in the chest after being shot by his friend's weapon in an incident of tampering with weapons.

In a non-criminal crime, local sources revealed that a woman, a mother of three children, in the village of Hadhar in the Al-Bahrain district in the Ibb countryside directorate (west of the city), drank a toxic substance that led to her death, without knowing the motives for the incident.

Shooting and burning cars

The security chaos witnessed in the center of Ibb Governorate and its districts has taken on other forms, as armed gangs have become active, working to disturb public peace and shoot at homes and properties amidst the silence and complicity of the Houthi militia authorities.

Local sources said that an armed gang known to the security services affiliated with the militia opened fire yesterday, Monday, on citizens’ homes and properties in Wadi Al-Janat in the Al-Sahoul area, north of the city of Ibb.

According to the sources, the armed gang opened fire on the house of the citizen (Darham Abdo Abdullah Al-Baz), and burned the car of the citizen (Abdo Al-Balaa).

The sources added that the gang returned and opened fire on two cars in the same area, causing significant damage to them.

The incident came hours after the burning of the car of the young man "Laith Al-Batoul", the son of the late historian, writer and leader in the Islah Party, Abdul Fattah Al-Batoul, which was parked next to his house in Akmat Al-Saafani, west of the city.

Three days ago, unknown persons burned Dr. Jamal Abdulmalik Al-Asali’s car in the city of Yarim, north of the governorate.

During the past months and years, dozens of cars and vehicles have been burned in a phenomenon that has expanded significantly and significantly in various directorates of the governorate, which is witnessing widespread security chaos and widespread crime.
