Today, Thursday, three young men drowned on the coast of the Al Hudaydah Corniche (western Yemen).
Eyewitnesses said that three young men who had come from Sana'a to enjoy a picnic in the city of Hodeidah drowned this morning on the Corniche while swimming during high tide.
According to condolences and obituaries circulating on social media, the victims were YouTuber Nazih Khaled Saleh Suwar, his friend Atef Al-Qarsaby, and another person.
The incident comes two days after the deaths of three young men off the coast of Ahwar in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen. This comes as Yemen's coastline is experiencing a high tide, with official warnings against swimming during these times.
