Difficult living conditions forced a citizen to end his life in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).
Local sources said that citizen Youssef Ali Ghaleb Dahami committed suicide by hanging himself inside his home in the village of Al-Kharba in the Ibb countryside, northwest of the city.
The sources added that Dahami had been suffering from financial hardship and difficult living conditions in recent months after leaving Saudi Arabia.
The sources indicated that the victim was married and had one child.
Ibb Governorate, under Houthi militia control, is experiencing a lack of job opportunities and a near-total halt to commercial activity, casting a shadow over the lives of thousands of day laborers, driving some to depression and even resort to suicide.
