The United States continued its airstrikes on alleged Iranian-backed Houthi positions in three Yemeni governorates.

Houthi-affiliated media reported that they had recorded 24 US airstrikes targeting several areas in the governorates of Sana'a, Sa'dah, and Hodeidah, overnight and early this morning.

Houthi media reported that 15 raids were launched in Saada, including the southeast of the city, the Sahar district, and the Takhiya area in the Majz district.

Defense Line, a platform focused on military and security affairs, suggested that the raids southeast of the city likely targeted a military complex in the Wadi'a area of Damaj and hideouts in the Al-Abla Mountains. Local residents reported hearing violent explosions in various parts of the governorate, it reported.

In Sana'a Governorate, the militia's media announced five raids on the Jarban area in Sanhan District and two raids on Mount Nabi Shu'ayb in Bani Matar.

Earlier, Houthi media reported two airstrikes targeting Kamaran Island, west of the coastal city of Hodeidah.

In contrast, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) posted footage on its X platform account of missiles being launched from a destroyer and warplanes taking off, confirming the continuation of its operations against Houthi positions.

Over the past few days, the United States has intensified its airstrikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen as part of a broader campaign announced by the White House on March 15 aimed at halting Houthi threats to international shipping.
