Real Madrid reaches the Copa del Rey final after a crazy match against Sociedad.

Real Madrid survived a scare from visiting Real Sociedad to reach the Copa del Rey final, drawing 4-4 after extra time in a frantic semi-final second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday.

The Basque team won 4-3 after regular time, forcing the match into extra time after Real Sociedad lost the first leg at home 1-0. Real Madrid then scored in the second half of extra time to secure a place in the final.

Real Madrid will meet their city rivals, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, in the final in Seville on April 26. The two sides will meet in the second leg at the Metropolitano Stadium in the capital on Wednesday, having drawn 4-4 in the first leg in Barcelona.
