Real Madrid kept up the pressure on their rivals Barcelona and temporarily shared the lead with them after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over visiting Leganes on Saturday evening in the 29th round of the Spanish Football League.

Real Madrid took the lead through Frenchman Kylian Mbappe from a penalty kick (32), and Diego Garcia equalized for Leganes (33), before Daniel Raba gave the visitors the lead (41).

In the second half, Jude Bellingham managed to equalize the score (47) before Mbappe managed to score the winning goal in the 76th minute of the match.

Kylian Mbappé became the first player to score 33 goals in all competitions in his first season with Real Madrid since Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2009-10 season.

Real Madrid raised its score to 63 points, on goal difference from Barcelona, which hosts Girona on Sunday.
