A citizen was killed by a relative's bullets during a family dispute in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

Local sources said that clashes broke out yesterday afternoon, Sunday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr, between cousins in the village of Akmat al-Badou in Bayt al-Shalif in the Al-Makhader district, north of Ibb.

The sources explained that the conflict, which erupted over a road dispute, resulted in the death of a citizen from both sides of the dispute.

Ibb Governorate is experiencing widespread security chaos and the spread and escalation of local and family disputes, which has exacerbated the incidence of murders in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
