The terrorist Houthi militia announced, in the early hours of Sunday morning, that "American-British" raids had taken place on the city of Saada, in northern Yemen.

Militia media reported that "American-British" fighters launched three raids east of Saada city, which is the main Houthi stronghold in Yemen.

While the militia did not provide additional details about the targeted sites and their results, no comment has been issued from Washington or London on these allegations so far.

In recent weeks, US fighter jets have launched a series of raids on Houthi military sites in Sanaa, Hodeidah, Saada, Amran and Al Bayda. Washington says it is targeting Houthi capabilities that pose a threat to its warships and international shipping vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Since November 2023, the Iran-backed Houthi militia has been launching drone and missile attacks on cargo ships linked to Israel and American and British ships while sailing in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen, saying it is in support of Gaza, which has been subjected to an Israeli war of extermination since October 7 of the same year.

As a result, the United States formed a military coalition led by it, and since the beginning of 2024 it has been carrying out air strikes on areas controlled by the Houthis, which it says are targeting the group’s military capabilities.
