The Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, confirmed that the armed forces are now stronger and more resilient in confronting the terrorist Houthi militias and their destructive project supported by the Iranian regime.
This came during his attendance, on Thursday, at the closing ceremony of the 2024 training year and the graduation of the third batch of Thunderbolt members of the First Reserve Brigade, according to the army website "September Net".
Lieutenant General Bin Aziz praised the level of expertise and high combat skills acquired by the course members, extending his thanks to the leadership of the First Reserve Brigade for its efforts in training and qualifying the recruits in various military sciences and knowledge, which enhances the position of the armed forces in the battlefields.
For his part, the Commander of the First Reserve Brigade, Brigadier General Daris Shaya, congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the course and their dedication to acquiring various combat skills. He expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff for their continuous support of the training programs, noting that this course is the culmination of the current training year.
The ceremony witnessed a military parade and a tactical combat project presented by the graduates of the third Sa'iqa course, reflecting the level of physical fitness and combat skills they acquired during the training period.
The graduates renewed their pledge to the political and military leadership to move forward to liberate the homeland from the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
