Houthi militia besieges homes and farms of Bani Nouf tribes west of Al Jawf

Since yesterday evening, the terrorist Houthi militia has continued to besiege the homes and farms of the Bani Nawf tribes in western Al-Jawf Governorate (northeastern Yemen).

A correspondent for "Yemeni Youth" said that the Houthi militia has been besieging, since yesterday evening, the homes and farms of citizens from the tribe in Al-Masloub District, west of Al-Jawf, with crews and armored vehicles.

He explained that the homes of the besieged citizens are crowded with women and children.

Yesterday, Sunday, gunmen from the Bani Nouf tribes detained a Houthi militia vehicle and a number of individuals who were on board, with the aim of pressuring the militia to release one of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sentil’s sons and his grandson, who were kidnapped by the Houthi militia earlier on the borders of Al-Jawf and Ma’rib governorates.

For years, there have been intermittent clashes between the Bani Nawf tribe and the Houthi militia, following the violations committed by the militia against the tribe’s members.
