Lahj.. Seizure of a truck carrying equipment used in military industries before smuggling it to the Houthis

Military forces in Lahj Governorate (southern Yemen) seized a shipment of equipment used in military industries before it was smuggled to the terrorist Houthi militia.

Media outlets affiliated with the Transitional Council said that military forces in the Fourth Region were able to thwart an attempt to smuggle devices and parts used in manufacturing drones to the terrorist Houthi militias north of Lahj Governorate.

She added that a military checkpoint located in the A'arim area seized, during a routine inspection, a truck carrying devices, spare parts and supplies used in the manufacture of drones, as it was loaded with a quantity of cigarettes in a camouflaged manner.

She added that the checkpoint personnel searched wooden boxes on board the truck and found parts of a drone that were heading to areas controlled by the Houthi militia.

She pointed out that the seized items were kept in custody to complete the procedures.
