The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (MASAM) project to clear Yemeni lands of mines removed 706 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices last week, planted by the terrorist Houthi militias, which are banned by the Iranian regime, bringing the total number of mines removed during the month of February to 2,817.
MASAM explained in a press release published on its website that the teams removed 668 unexploded ordnance and 24 anti-tank mines. Thus, MASAM teams removed 2,640 unexploded ordnance and 146 anti-tank mines during February.
The statement said that Masam teams were able to clear 971,080 square meters of Yemeni lands during the past month. It explained that since the launch of the project at the end of June 2018 until now, Masam teams have been able to clear 65,662,717 square meters of Yemeni lands.
