Al-Arada discusses with the commander of the coalition forces supporting military efforts to confront the threats of the Houthi militias

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Sultan Al-Arada discussed with the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, today, Thursday, the latest developments and military and field developments.
This came during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Joint Forces Command in Riyadh, in the presence of the Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces, Major General Pilot Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, and a number of leaders of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, according to the Yemeni News Agency "Saba".
The agency reported that the meeting discussed mechanisms to enhance joint coordination at various levels, and support military and security efforts in the face of current difficulties, in order to achieve security and stability, restore state institutions, and end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia.
Al-Arada stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership in confronting the threats facing Yemen and the region, and continuing integration, technical and logistical support, and developing strategic plans to achieve common goals.
He stressed that the stage requires intensifying efforts, strengthening joint action, and dealing with events with awareness and responsibility, as well as raising the level of readiness to deal with current challenges, and close cooperation to meet the aspirations of the Yemenis and establish the foundations of security and stability.
Al-Arada expressed his great appreciation, and that of all the Yemeni people, for the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting legitimacy and backing the Yemeni people in various fields.
He pointed out that the Yemeni people will not forget the fraternal stances and great sacrifices made by the Arab coalition, and their standing by Yemen in the most difficult circumstances, and those honorable stances will remain engraved in the memory and conscience of every Yemeni.
For his part, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, stressed the keenness of the Joint Forces Command to enhance the capabilities of the Yemeni Armed Forces, and support all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in Yemen, and building a safe and prosperous future for the Yemenis, according to the agency.
In a related context, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, discussed today with the military attaché at the US Embassy in Yemen, Colonel Stuart Peebles, the situation in the Yemeni arena, according to the official agency.
The meeting also discussed the continued attacks by the terrorist Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, on commercial ships, threatening freedom of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, and continuing their attacks on the positions of the armed forces on various fronts.
He also touched on the cooperation of the terrorist Houthi militias with the terrorist organizations Al-Qaeda and ISIS to target members of the armed forces and attempt to disturb security in the liberated areas.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Minister of Defense met with the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, and the British Military Attaché, Colonel Jonathan Frame.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in Yemen in light of developments in the region, the continued attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on commercial ships and maritime shipping lines, and the Iranian regime’s continued smuggling of weapons and drugs to support these terrorist militias.
Al-Daari reiterated that the security of maritime navigation and the stability of the region depend on supporting the capabilities of the armed forces to militarily defeat the terrorist Houthi militia, restore state institutions, and achieve security, stability, and equal citizenship for all Yemenis.
He pointed out that the Yemenis' long experiences with the terrorist Houthi militias, which claim the divine right to rule, confirm that they and peace are two opposites that do not meet, no matter how many concessions are made to them.
