Informed sources said that the German government informed the Houthi militia to stop the activity of the GIZ agency and close its office in Sanaa.

The sources confirmed that the German government officially informed the Houthi authorities to stop the activities of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and close its office in Sanaa within the next six months.

This comes in light of the severe harassment carried out by the Houthi militia against international organizations and their workers in Sanaa and areas under Houthi control.

During the past months, the militia kidnapped dozens of employees and accused them of working as espionage for foreign countries, according to their claims.
