Taiz parties condemn the genocide in Gaza and announce a solidarity march on Wednesday.

Political parties and groups in Taiz Governorate announced on Monday that they will hold a mass solidarity march tomorrow, Wednesday, to express their popular and political stance rejecting the genocide and supporting the steadfastness of Palestinians in the face of the occupation.
This came during a regular meeting held by the governorate's political parties and components to discuss a number of priority issues, most notably developments in the Gaza Strip and service and living conditions in the governorate.
The political leaders discussed the genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people in Gaza, expressing their strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli aggression and affirming their full solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle for their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
On local affairs, the meeting addressed a number of issues troubling citizens in Taiz Governorate, most notably the education crisis and the deteriorating conditions of teachers due to the rising cost of living and the deteriorating value of the national currency.
The attendees stressed the importance of combining all official and popular efforts to protect the educational process and improve the conditions of teachers, as they are the cornerstone of the educational process.
Political leaders stressed the need to intensify efforts to address the accumulated crises facing the governorate, calling for prioritizing the public interest and unifying ranks to advance Taiz and end the suffering of its people.
