Army forces thwart Houthi militia infiltration attempt west of Taiz

Late yesterday evening, the National Army forces announced that they had thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia into their positions west of Taiz (southwest of Yemen).

The Taiz Military Axis media said in a brief statement, "The National Army forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorist Houthi militia elements in the left hill on the Al-Ahtoub front, Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz."

Earlier on Sunday, the army's media announced that its forces' positions on the air defense front, northwest of the city, were subjected to intense Houthi shelling.

During the past few days, the terrorist Houthi militia has intensified its hostile operations against the army forces’ positions on various fronts in the governorate, accompanied by shelling operations that targeted residential neighborhoods and civilian facilities in the governorate’s center and its countryside, amid suspicious international silence.
