Two people were killed and two others were injured in two separate incidents in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), which is under the control of the Houthi militia and is witnessing widespread security chaos.
Local sources said that an exchange of gunfire took place between a person named Shaher Abdul Wahab Al-Shahari and another named Sadiq Muhammad Ubaid Al-Jalal, following a previous dispute between them, which led to the death of the first person after he was shot several times, and the other person was shot in the foot.
The sources added that the incident occurred yesterday, Thursday, in the Al-Adharib district of Ba'dan, east of Ibb.
In Hazm Al Udayn District (west of Ibb), a person named (Daris Ali Radman Al Mujahidi) was killed, and another named (Abdullah Hazam) was injured by a gunman named (Musab Muhammad Ali Al Harimi), following a dispute that broke out between them in the Rubu Al Fanj market.
Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing a massive security chaos, which has increased the severity of murders, which are mostly due to land disputes or family differences. This has been exacerbated by the militia’s obstruction of the judiciary and the transfer of cases to Houthi leaders and prominent figures affiliated with them, with the aim of financial gain.
