Al Jawf: Clashes erupt between tribal gunmen and Houthi militia in Al-Yatmah

Late last night, clashes erupted between tribal gunmen and the terrorist Houthi militia in Al-Jawf Governorate (northeastern Yemen).

The sources said that violent clashes took place between gunmen from the "Dhu Hussein" tribes and the Houthi militia in the Al-Yutmah area in the Khab and Al-Sha'af district, northeast of Al-Jawf governorate.

The sources added that the clashes erupted around the Zallaq checkpoint, and medium and heavy weapons were used, after militia members fired live bullets at a tribesman's car for unknown reasons.

The sources indicated that the tribal gunmen managed to burn a vehicle belonging to the militia.

The governorate witnesses clashes from time to time between tribes and the Houthi militia as a result of the militia's attacks against tribesmen at its checkpoints and areas under its control.
