Egypt agrees to operate flights between Cairo and Al Rayyan airports in Hadhramaut

The Yemeni embassy in Cairo announced that Egypt has agreed to operate flights between Al-Rayyan Airport in Hadhramaut and the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The embassy said, on the X platform, "We announce to our citizens the news of the approval of the authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt to operate Yemenia Airlines flights between Al Rayyan and Cairo airports."
She said that the flights "will be scheduled and announced in the near future."

Since the outbreak of the war, flights between Yemen and Egypt have been limited to limited flights from Aden International Airport only. Flights were operated for a short period after the opening of Sana'a Airport, but they stopped completely.
