The terrorist Houthi militia continued to shell civilian objects around the city of Taiz (southwest of Yemen), amid a wave of escalation and hostilities that has been ongoing for weeks.

Human rights sources said that the terrorist Houthi militia targeted, today, Thursday, with mortar shells via drones, civilian objects in the village of Al-Sayahi in Al-Dhabab, west of the city.

In the Sabr Al-Mawadim district, southeast of Taiz, the Houthi militia launched a bombardment on residential neighborhoods in the village of Al-Arish, which resulted in the injury of a 17-year-old girl.

According to human rights sources, the girl (Maliyah Abdullah Hammadi Saeed - 17 years old) was injured by shrapnel in various parts of her body, as a result of a projectile launched by the Houthi militia falling on the village while the victim was herding sheep.

During the past days and weeks, the terrorist Houthi militia has intensified its crimes against civilians in various districts of the governorate, leaving dozens dead and wounded, in conjunction with hostile operations and repeated attacks on government forces’ positions, all of which have failed.
