Taiz.. Arrest of 9 people involved in the murder of Saif Al-Sharaabi

Taiz police announced, on Friday evening, the arrest of 9 people involved in the murder of citizen Saif Al-Sharaabi, who was killed last Monday in front of his house due to a quarrel with an armed man who was sitting near his house.

The case of the murder of "Al-Sharabi" is still being discussed in local public opinion, which is demanding the arrest of the killer, whose name was announced by the victim's daughter. Taiz police confirmed that they "will not hesitate at all to pursue and arrest the main perpetrator."

The Security Media Center said in a press release: "The police confirm their continued pursuit and pursuit of the perpetrators in the case of citizen Saif Mahmoud Al-Sharaabi, and were able to arrest the second wanted person in the case this evening, Friday."

He pointed out that "eight people involved in covering up for the main perpetrator were arrested and were placed in custody to complete the investigations. The father of the main wanted person in the case was detained, in addition to seizing the car used to escape after committing the crime, and arresting the person who drove it during the operation."

The police said that they "will take all strict measures against anyone proven to be involved in covering up for the perpetrator or trying to hide him," stressing that they "are working around the clock and will not rest until he is arrested and brought to justice."

She called on all citizens to fully cooperate with the security services and immediately report any information that might help solve the case, appreciating the community and media interaction with the case and the keenness to maintain security.

Yesterday, Thursday, Ghadeer Al-Sharabi appealed - The victim's daughter - called for the arrest of the accused of killing her father, and said in a post on Facebook, "Her father, Saif Mahmoud Faraj Al-Sharaabi, was killed by the criminal Walid Kamel Abdel Raqib, nicknamed "Walid Shala'a" on Monday, December 30, at 7:30."

The young woman, Ghadeer, posted a video on Facebook, explaining the details of her father’s murder in front of their home while she watched with her sisters. She said, “Her father was lying on the ground and no one helped her,” and appealed to the head of the Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, to help her find her father’s killer and achieve the justice we deserve.

"My demand is still to arrest my father's killer and to carry out swift retribution as a lesson to others," she said, noting that "her father's killer is still at large to this day."
