Taiz.. Tens of thousands demonstrate in condemnation of genocide crimes in Gaza

Today, Friday, the city of Taiz witnessed a massive protest in support of the Palestinian cause and resistance, and in condemnation of the crimes of genocide and systematic forced displacement in the Gaza Strip.

Tens of thousands of citizens gathered in Tahrir Street in the center of Taiz city, in response to the call of the political components in the governorate, southwest of Yemen.

The participants raised the national and Palestinian flags and a unified banner that read, "Stop the genocide and displacement in Gaza."

They also chanted slogans such as, "No Arabism, no patriotism, they all sold out the cause," "Fire before you and fire after you, continue, Al-Sinwar generation."

For the 27th day, the northern Gaza Strip has been subjected to an Israeli bombing campaign and a stifling siege in an attempt by the occupation to forcibly displace Palestinians.

The occupation launched a war of genocide on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of more than 145,000 Palestinians.

Israel continues its massacres in Gaza, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip.
