The Yemeni army announced today, Wednesday, the thwarting of an infiltration attempt by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, west of Taiz Governorate, southwest of Yemen.

Military sources told the Armed Forces Media Center that "the army heroes repelled an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militias on the Al-Ahtoub front in the Habshi district, west of Taiz."

The sources confirmed that the army forces inflicted losses on the hostile Houthi groups and forced the rest of them to flee.

On the Maqbanah front, the army forces succeeded in thwarting hostile movements by the terrorist Houthi militias in the Al-Qahifa area after monitoring and tracking them, and inflicted casualties among the Houthi groups.

Late Tuesday evening, the Taiz Military Axis said that the army forces' artillery responded to Houthi militia shelling that targeted army positions on the Al-Ahtoub front in Jabal Habashi district, west of the governorate.

In the context, the armed forces responded to sources of hostile fire on several fronts south of Ma'rib Governorate, and the army heroes succeeded in neutralizing them and killing and wounding a number of Houthi militia elements, according to the media center.

The army forces also dealt with sources of hostile fire east of Al-Hazm city in Al-Jawf governorate, in addition to targeting drones launched by the Houthi militia towards military sites on the same front.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the army forces announced the downing of an attack drone launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia towards military sites on the Al-Kasara front, northwest of Ma'rib Governorate.

During the past few days, the Yemeni army forces thwarted attacks and infiltration attempts by the Houthi militias on various battlefronts, and carried out preemptive strikes targeting the militia's military sites and equipment.
