The Association of Mothers of Abductees strongly condemned and denounced the crimes committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against the abductees, which reached the point of death under torture. It also denounced the indifferent international position towards these crimes.
This came in a statement by the association commenting on the death of educational expert "Mohammed Khammash" in the security and intelligence prison of the terrorist Houthi militia.
The association said in its statement that it condemns and denounces "the criminal practices against detainees and abductees in the prisons of the Houthi group, the latest of which was the death of the educator "Mohammed Khammash" under torture after his abduction for about three months. He is the second educator in just one year after the educator "Sabri Al-Hakimi."
She added, "We express our concern about the situation of our children inside prisons that are not subject to any oversight, accountability, or legal deterrent for all the violations that have led to their death, which poses a real threat to the safety of the rest of the detainees, abductees, and forcibly disappeared."
The association denounced what it called "the inaction of the international community and the concerned parties" regarding the issue of the kidnapped.
On Tuesday evening, human rights sources revealed that the family of educational expert "Mohammed Khammash" received a notification from the Houthi militia authorities stating his death and demanding that they receive his body.
Over the past weeks and months, deaths have increased in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia due to torture and medical negligence, amid the halt of international efforts to resume prisoner and abductee exchange talks.
