Taiz University hosts a workshop on political leadership for master's students

Today, Thursday, the Faculty of Arts at Taiz University organized a specialized workshop on political leadership, with the participation of master’s students in the Department of Political Science and History, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdul Raqib Al-Samawi, Professor of the “Leadership and Decision-Making” course, and in cooperation with researcher Ammar Al-Sawai, who facilitated the sessions.

The workshop covered four main axes, including an analysis of the concepts of leadership and political leadership, their functions, and various roles, in addition to their patterns in different political contexts.

At the opening of the workshop, Dr. Al-Samawi stressed the importance of using modern educational methods to enhance the quality of academic education outcomes in a way that serves the state and society.

In his speech during the event, which was attended by the Vice Dean Dr. Amin Al-Mikhlafi and Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Khali, Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Yahya Al-Madhaji, praised the academic value of these activities, pointing out their role in honing students’ leadership and decision-making skills.

It is noteworthy that this workshop comes within the academic efforts aimed at enhancing knowledge and developing the skills of master’s students, which contributes to preparing them for the challenges of leadership in the political field.
