Over the course of six decades of the Republic, we find that the Yemeni political experience was based on strange contradictions and even stranger transformations. It did not create political elites aware of their political future or a society that is aware of its interests and follows the methods of achieving them. Rather, there was a break between the individual elite consciousness and the collective mass consciousness.

We stand with all our hearts with Palestine and the Palestinians, but you do nothing for the Palestinian cause except kill our people and destroy the infrastructure of our country, which the Yemenis have worked hard to build.
