Don't waste an opportunity for peace

We stand with all our hearts with Palestine and the Palestinians, but you do nothing for the Palestinian cause except kill our people and destroy the infrastructure of our country, which the Yemenis worked hard to build. You have tampered with our security and the security of the region, and you are tampering with the security of the world. The Israeli raids did not touch a single brick of your private property, but they destroyed the property of our people, in light of stupid incompetence on your part.
What you claim to support the Palestinians has no meaning today or yesterday. Palestine is an Arab cause par excellence, and we are only part of an exhausted nation today. It is difficult for Yemen to lead the scene, regardless of the ruling authorities in Sana’a. According to simple calculations, Yemen will reap nothing from your policies except loss. So why do you insist on destroying and impoverishing a people whose poverty you have increased upon their poverty?
There is no explanation for your behavior that has brought misery to our people other than that you are historically burdened with hostility and hatred towards this people who were citizens before you, so you wanted to be rulers riding concepts and rulings that God did not authorize. Trust in only one thing, which is that the One who expelled the Imams from Sana’a time and time again will expel you from it this time. We and you have a good opportunity to stop the bloodshed, and an opportunity to return to dialogue, so do not waste it.
If you have a past-based belief in a right that our people no longer acknowledge, and have never acknowledged, the days have shown that reality is one thing, and the dreams of the past are another. Everything around you is changing, but the most important feature of change is that this people, upon whom you imposed your bloody authorities and your terrorist regime, is advancing, holding the initiative, raising the banner of change, correction, and restoration of the state, and the victory of its ideal values of freedom, justice, and equality.
We say it to you frankly, we will fight you if you refuse, for there is no authority over this people except their free will, which can only be expressed at the ballot box. Do not let your suspicions lead you far with your boring theses about aggression, for if there was aggression, you and Iran did it in Maran, and we will end it in Maran, God willing. Once again, do not waste a historic opportunity for peace, catching our breath, and rebuilding, and let us heal together the wounds of this afflicted and oppressed people.
