The World Bank warned of the worsening humanitarian and economic crisis in Yemen as a result of the ongoing conflict that the country has been witnessing for a decade.

A member of the Leadership Council warned against the international community’s continued disregard for the Houthis’ persistent efforts to consolidate Yemen’s subordination to the Velayat-e Faqih regime, which seeks to exploit its important geopolitical position to achieve its expansionist ambitions.
