The committee preparing the draft political program of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components concluded its meeting on Saturday in the city of Mokha, as part of its accelerated steps since its announcement early last November.

The Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party commented on the announcement of the National Bloc of Political Components, which was announced today in the temporary capital, Aden, with the participation of 21 political parties and components, considering this bloc a “step in the right direction.”

Special sources told Yemen Youth Channel that Yemeni political parties will announce their bloc tomorrow, Wednesday, in the interim capital, Aden, amid a boycott by the UAE-backed Transitional Council.

The head of the political department of the Islah Party in Hadhramaut, Fouad Barbud, said that the party played a pivotal role in strengthening the political process over the past three decades, up to the current stage in which the country is witnessing major democratic challenges.

Yesterday, Monday, the first public meeting was held between the Vice Presidents of the Presidential Leadership Council, Head of the National Resistance, Tariq Saleh, and the Head of the Transitional Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.

The Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party will celebrate tomorrow, Friday, the 34th anniversary of its founding, which coincided with the declaration of the blessed Yemeni unity in 1990, as an intellectual, cultural, social and political extension of the reform and renewal movements throughout Yemeni history.
