Ukraine said it was "outraged" after a Russian-flagged ship secretly exported grain from a Western-sanctioned port in occupied Crimea to Houthi-controlled Yemen for the second time in months.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on Wednesday on Russian accusations that Kiev provided support to Syrian opposition factions that took control of the city of Aleppo after the start of an ongoing military operation against the Syrian regime allied with Moscow.

A Swiss non-governmental investigative organization reported that Houthis from Yemen are fighting in Ukraine alongside Russian forces through a company involved in arms smuggling, confirming the existence of close communication between the Houthi group and the Kremlin.

The Financial Times reported today (Sunday) that Russia has recruited hundreds of mercenaries from Yemen in coordination with the Houthis to fight in Ukraine, noting that the recruitment of mercenaries began last July.
