A drone attack targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Southern Transitional Council forces in Mudiyah District, east of Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, on Wednesday.

Joint security and military forces from the General Security, Security Belt, and Abyan Axis were able to storm a camp belonging to Al-Qaeda in Wadi Al-Sari in the Khabar Al-Maraqsha area, and take full control of it in a qualitative operation carried out on Friday morning.

Today, Sunday, the city of Al-Koud in Khanfar District, Abyan Governorate, witnessed a popular demonstration demanding retribution for the killer of a football player, who was killed last week.

Late on Wednesday evening, citizens found the body of a soldier in the Security Belt formations affiliated with the Transitional Council, killed in mysterious circumstances, two days after his disappearance in Lawdar District, Abyan Governorate, in the south of the country. 

Today, Wednesday, tribal militants set up a section on the main road linking Aden to the eastern governorates, demanding to reveal the fate of a kidnapped officer in Aden, while the Aden Security Administration revealed the involvement of a security official in releasing the main accused in the kidnapping incident.
