At a time when the new administration in Syria continues its efforts to control the security situation, the Military Operations Department sent military reinforcements to the city of Al-Sanamayn in Daraa, in the south of the country, on Sunday, in order to maintain security after the clashes that the city witnessed between armed factions. This comes while the administration continues its security campaigns in a number of governorates, which include the arrest of some wanted persons or those who refuse to hand over their weapons and carry out settlement operations.

On the humanitarian front, the World Health Organization announced the arrival of the first emergency plane of 2025 to Damascus International Airport, carrying 32.5 tons of medical supplies sufficient to meet the health needs of 300,000 people. In a series of posts on its account on the "X" platform, the UN organization said that "the flight (plane), carrying 32.5 tons of medicines and emergency supplies worth $600,000, arrived at Damascus International Airport."

Meanwhile, military confrontations continue in eastern Aleppo, northern Syria, between the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) and the Turkish-backed "Syrian National Army", as part of the latter's attempts to control the Tishreen Dam and the town of Maskanah, all the way to Raqqa Governorate. As part of the fierce battles between the two parties for days, with the participation of Turkish warplanes, the National Army brought in military reinforcements to the Maskanah axis, east of Aleppo, after taking control of the Sixth Farm area south of the town, amid conflicting reports about the SDF beginning to withdraw from Maskanah towards the western countryside of Raqqa Governorate, at a time when the National Army is advancing in the southern and western countryside of the city.

Internationally, the Syrian caretaker Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani visited Doha, and said during his visit that "Qatar had a prominent role in supporting the Syrian people and will be a partner in the peace-building phase," noting that he "discussed all the basic and strategic issues with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani," offering "thanks to the State of Qatar for its assistance and strategic partnership."
