The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the number of children killed during Israel's genocidal war has risen to 15,613, representing 31 percent of the total number of deaths in the Strip, which amounted to 50,082.
This was revealed in an infographic published by the ministry on Telegram, detailing child victims from October 7, 2023, to March 23.
The ministry said, according to the infographic, that injuries among children reached 33,900, representing 30 percent of the total number of injuries in the Gaza Strip, which amounts to 113,408.
The infographic indicated that Israel killed 825 infants under the age of one during the same period, and showed that the number of children born and killed during the genocide amounted to approximately 274.
Since resuming its genocide in Gaza at dawn on Tuesday, Israel has killed 730 Palestinians and injured 1,367 others, most of them women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
This escalation, which Tel Aviv said was taking place in full coordination with Washington, represents the most significant violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the second phase of which Israel refrained from implementing after the first phase expired in early March.
Despite Hamas' commitment to the terms of the agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase, yielding to pressure from extremists within his government.
With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 163,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
