Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues his threats to resume the war of extermination in Gaza, while Hamas confirmed its adherence to the stages of the ceasefire agreement, and called on the mediators to protect the Gaza agreement and force Netanyahu to start the second stage.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today, Monday, that Israel is preparing for the next phase of the war on the Gaza Strip, stressing that his government will not stop before achieving all of its goals, "first and foremost of which is eliminating Hamas and returning all detainees."
Netanyahu said in a speech before the Knesset that the Israeli occupation army continues its operations in Gaza, stressing that Israel will not leave any detainee in the Strip, whether alive or dead. He added: "Hamas is lying to the prisoners and telling them that we have abandoned them."
Netanyahu pointed out that there is a large gap between Israel and Hamas regarding the second phase of the prisoner exchange agreement, adding that the movement rejected the proposal of the US envoy to the region, Steve Witkoff, which Israel agreed to.
Hamas sticks to the agreement
In addition, Hamas called on the mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the prisoner exchange to "protect it from collapse" as they are responsible for preventing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from "sabotaging all efforts to reach an agreement."
This came in a videotaped speech by the movement’s leader Osama Hamdan, during which he reviewed Israel’s violations of the ceasefire agreement under 6 clauses: “violations related to relief, shelter, and the humanitarian protocol, field violations, violations related to prisoners, the Rafah crossing, the Philadelphi corridor, and political violations.”
Speaking about the political violations, Hamdan called on the international community to force Netanyahu to start the second phase.

He said: "We call on the international community and the United Nations to work to compel the occupation to return to the agreement and enter the second phase of it, leading to a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of all forces, relief and shelter for our people, and the reconstruction of what the occupation has destroyed."
He also called for "implementing UN Security Council Resolution No. 2735 and working to achieve a just solution to our Palestinian cause that guarantees the right to self-determination by establishing a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the return of refugees to their cities and villages from which they were displaced."
Hamdan called on the international community to force the occupation to open the crossings and allow the entry of life-saving humanitarian aid, and pointed out that the mediators and guarantors of the agreement bear “full responsibility for preventing Netanyahu from sabotaging all the efforts made to reach the agreement, and protecting the agreement from collapse.”
