Two people were killed and three others were injured on Thursday evening, following an armed clash in a popular market selling qat in the city of Al-Dhale’e, the provincial capital, in southern Yemen.
Local sources said that a verbal altercation broke out between two people, which developed into a fistfight, before it reached the point of shooting between them, in a qat-selling garden in the center of the city of Al-Dhale.
The sources explained that the shooting by one of the parties resulted in the killing of two young men: "Ammar Abdul Raqib Muhammad Saad" and "Muhammad Khalid Al-Faqih", and the injury of three others.
No comment was issued by the security authorities in Al Dhale’ Governorate on the incident until the time of writing this news.
