Al Bayda.. Tribal gathering to denounce the rape of a child by a Houthi element in the central prison in Rada’a

On Monday, tribesmen gathered in front of the central prison in Rada’a, Al Bayda Governorate, to denounce the rape of a minor child by a member of the Houthi militia while he was visiting his brother in prison.

Local sources confirmed to "Yemeni Youth Net" that dozens of gunmen from the tribe to which the child belongs and neighboring tribes in Qifah, gathered on Monday in front of the central prison in Rada'a, to demand the trial of the accused of sexually assaulting a child, and to hold the prison director accountable.

The sources added that contacts took place between Houthi leaders and sheikhs from Qifah, so that the perpetrator would be imprisoned, but the tension still exists.

A Houthi member in the central prison sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy from the Al-Ghalis family last Saturday, while he was visiting his brother in prison.
