Al Hudaydah: Angry demonstration after a child was killed by a Houthi gunman in Al Luhayyah district.

Hundreds of residents of Al-Luhayyah city, north of Al Hudaydah Governorate (western Yemen), demonstrated last night following the killing of a child by a member of the terrorist Houthi militia, and the militia's attempt to dilute the issue.

The government's media office in Al Hudaydah reported that hundreds of residents of Al Lahya city staged angry protests, rejecting the Houthi militia's attempts to obscure the truth about the killing of the child Mahmoud Omar Ali Hadi, and demanding that they leave.

Official media reported that the child, Mahmoud Omar Ali Hadi, was killed by a bullet fired by a member of the Houthi terrorist militia's naval forces. The militia is attempting to obfuscate the case by claiming the perpetrator was mistaken.

He pointed out that the protesters chanted angry slogans against the militia's attempts to cover up the crime with flimsy justifications, considering it a disregard for the blood of innocents. They stressed the need to hold the killer accountable and bring him to justice without delay.
