Al-Nukhai: The new phase aims to enhance the readiness of naval units and raise their efficiency

Adviser to the Minister of Defense, Commander of the Naval Forces and Coastal Defense, Lieutenant General Abdullah Salem Al-Nukhai, confirmed on Thursday that the new phase aims to enhance the readiness of naval units and raise their operational and moral efficiency.
This came during the launch of the Naval Forces and Coastal Defense General Training, Operational and Morale 2025, under the slogan: "In order to maintain the readiness of the Naval Forces units to carry out the tasks assigned to them during this year."
Al-Nukhai pointed out that the naval forces and coastal defense, despite the challenges, were able to achieve tangible accomplishments that prepare them to carry out their national responsibilities, noting that the launch of the training year comes in conjunction with the successes and victories achieved by our heroes in positions of honor and heroism to enhance security and stability and advance the wheel of construction and development.
Lieutenant General Al-Nukhai reiterated the commitment of the naval forces and coastal defense to carry out their assigned tasks to defend the sovereignty, security and stability of the homeland.
For his part, the Chief of Joint Operations, Major General Saleh Ali, praised the combat readiness shown by the naval forces and coastal defense and their efforts to enhance maritime security and protect national sovereignty.
Major General Saleh Ali stressed that the successes achieved are the result of sound planning and continuous training that the political and military leadership seeks to achieve in all military units.
During the celebration, symbolic units of the Navy and Coastal Defense presented a military parade, which demonstrated the level of discipline and readiness, in addition to reviewing the readiness of a number of naval vessels.
The ceremony concluded with honoring a number of distinguished officers and individuals in appreciation of their efforts in raising the efficiency of the naval forces and coastal defense.
