Army forces announce thwarting three Houthi militia attacks on Taiz fronts

The National Army forces announced the thwarting of three attacks by the Houthi militia on the fronts of Taiz Governorate (southwest of Yemen).

The Taiz Axis Media Center said that the army forces had thwarted three infiltration and attack attempts by the Houthi militia on its positions on the governorate's fronts during the past ten days.

He added in a statement on Facebook that the army forces confronted these attempts and engaged in confrontations with the militia with various weapons, responding to their sources of fire and shelling their artillery positions, which resulted in the death of one of their members.

The statement indicated that the militia's attempts coincided with the militia's targeting of residential neighborhoods and villages with drone strikes in Al-Dhubab and the western countryside of Taiz.

In recent weeks, the terrorist Houthi militia has intensified its hostile attacks on army positions on various fronts in the governorate, in conjunction with a continuous mobilization of equipment and armed elements and the creation of military fortifications around the city.

The militia also continued its violations against civilians, targeting gatherings of citizens and civilian objects with artillery and drones, causing deaths and injuries among civilians and material damage to property.
