Female students' branch at the University of Science, under Houthi control, in Sana'a
Media sources said that Houthi elements prevented professors from entering the University of Science and Technology in Sana'a, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
According to sources, the director of the university president's office, imposed by the new administration by the Houthi militia, prevented the guards of the university's female students' branch from entering a number of faculty members because of their clothing.
The sources indicated that the militia prevented the doctors from entering the university because they were wearing inappropriate clothing, including jeans and shirts, which led to the cancellation of lectures.
The sources confirmed that a number of faculty members decided to suspend teaching in protest against what they described as intransigence and insult.
