Hodeidah: Yemen Youth Net - Special
Local sources revealed that the terrorist Houthi militia evacuated the village of Manzar in the city of Hodeidah (western Yemen) of its residents, coinciding with the spread of rumors about an imminent military operation in the coastal governorate.
Colleague Abdullah Doublah, presenter of the “From the Other Side” program on the “Yemeni Youth” channel, said in an episode last night, quoting sources, that the Houthi militia recently evacuated the residents of the village of Manzar, affiliated with the Al-Hawak Directorate, south of the city of Hodeidah, from their homes.
He added that the evacuation of residents coincided with the spread of a rumor that the Houthi militia is believed to be behind an imminent military operation by government forces in Hodeidah.
In this context, he referred to the maneuver that the militia recently conducted, which simulates confronting a supposed land and sea attack on the Hodeidah Governorate, which is under its control, indicating that this maneuver and the rumors being promoted about it may be the Houthi pretext that it used to force residents to evacuate their homes and station themselves inside them and build military fortifications.

In recent years, the Houthi militia has tried on more than one occasion to terrorize residents and force them to evacuate their homes bordering the Red Sea and close to the ports under its control, under the pretext of the existence of plans for military operations by government forces in those areas.
It is noteworthy that an international intervention in late 2018 prevented the liberation of the city of Hodeidah and its ports from the control of the terrorist Houthi militia under humanitarian pretexts, after government forces supported by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy were on the outskirts of the city after controlling most of the governorate’s coasts.
