Houthi militia sends its security elements in Ibb to the battle fronts in neighboring governorates

Informed sources reported that the Houthi militia has been sending its security elements in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) to the battle fronts in neighboring governorates for several days.

The sources said that the Houthi militia in Ibb Governorate, during the past few days, has sent individuals and officers affiliated with the General Security from all departments and from the Directorate Security Administration to support the fighting fronts in Taiz, Al Dhale’e and Hodeidah.

The sources added that the militia resorted to this measure after failing to mobilize citizens from within the governorate.

The sources indicated that these mobilizations come within the framework of the escalation launched by the militia in recent weeks on various fronts.

During the past weeks and days, the Houthi militia has sent large reinforcements to the fronts of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhale, Lahj and other fronts, in an attempt to impose a new reality in the contact areas in light of its fears of military movements by government forces towards the areas under its control.
